We are looking for a full time mechanic to maintain our fleet of trucks, trailers, and loaders.
You will be the sole mechanic for our business.
Therefore the role will suit someone who is self-motivated, has solid diagnostic capability, experience working independently, and is able to communicate well with other staff.
You will have a fully equipped workshop and service vehicle with all tools supplied.
Our main workshop is located at Mannum but the role will require travel between sites as we also have a depot at Port Wakefield.
Travel to on road breakdowns will be required.
You will be responsible for:
· Regular servicing of all vehicles and machinery
· Ordering of parts and materials within approved processes.
· Attending breakdowns and incidents to assess,



repair, and/or recover vehicles as directed.
· Keeping accurate records of service and repairs.
The successful applicant will be:
· Reliable and honest
· Self-motivated and able to work independently
· Adaptable and willing to take on challenges
· A team player who works with others to ensure smooth operations
Beneficial to also have:
· HR or HC Licence
· Auto Air Conditioning licence
· Hydraulic hose repair experience
· Welding experience
