About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader-Child & Family Health the core responsibilities include:
Operational oversight, review and management of key Child & Family Health Programs including Sleep & Settling, First-Time Parent Groups, Breastfeeding Support and Supported Playgroup including direct staff supervision.
Build and develop collaborative and outcome focussed relationships at all levels of council including working closely with staff and other members of the Child & Family Health Team.
Manage budgets and ensure procurement requirements are met.
Foster and develop staff professional development and learning.
An innovative approach to service delivery that encourages access and participation for all families.
About You
Demonstrated experience leading, developing engaging and supporting teams.
Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as both a Registered Nurse (Division 1) and Registered Midwife as well as holding an accredited Postgraduate Qualification in Child and Family Health.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of the Maternal and Child Health Service Practice Guidelines and Program Standards, Child Information Sharing Scheme and Family Violence Information Sharing Schemes as well as comprehensive understanding of the legislative framework in which MCH Services operate.
Understanding of the Supported Playgroup Smalltalk Program logic.
