The Opportunity
Our Adelaide Showroom is seeking a part-time Design Consultant (4 days per week) to provide coverage across weekdays and weekends.
As a Design Consultant at King Living, you will combine design flair and technical product expertise with a genuinely consultative approach.
Based in our Adelaide Showroom, you will engage a steady flow of premium retail and trade clients, delivering an exceptional experience at every stage of the customer journey.
Strong organisational skills and a professional, client-first mindset are essential.
We are looking for an individual who takes pride in product knowledge and values the integrity of a well-managed sales pipeline.
As part of our high-performing team, you are self-motivated, goal-oriented, and dedicated to achieving and exceeding sales targets.

The Role
Deliver exceptional, personalised customer experiences in line with the King Living premium standardGuide customers through their purchasing journey by identifying needs and presenting tailored solutionsProvide a holistic sales approach across Online, Trade & Commercial, KingCare, Despatch and Customer ServicePrepare and follow up on quotes,



converting enquiries into sales with accuracy and urgencyComplete all sale orders with correct customer details, product information, pricing, and delivery datesMaintain immaculate showroom presentation in line with Brand and VM guidelinesSupport the team in achieving set sales targets and maximising campaign performanceAssist with samples, POS, product cards, and showroom materials as required
About You
Demonstrated experience in premium retail sales, ideally within furniture, interiors, or designExisting knowledge of King Living products and the King Living customer experience highly regardedA genuine passion for design, with a refined eye for style and detail; current or previous interior design experience is highly advantageousCustomer-obsessed, with the ability to build rapport and guide confident purchasing decisionsResults-focused with strong follow-up discipline and the ability to convert quotes to salesFlexible and reliable, with availability to work weekends consistentlyConfident written and verbal communication skills with excellent professional presentationComfortable with data entry and working within systems such as SAP
