Century Engineering is a proudly Australian-owned engineering and manufacturing business delivering high-quality fabrication and manufacturing solutions to the mining, defence, infrastructure, power and water sectors.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focusedPeople & Culture Advisorto join our team.
This is a hands-on operational role where you'll work closely with leaders across the business, supporting them through every stage of the employee lifecycle while ensuring our People & Culture systems, processes and standards are consistently followed.
You'll become a trusted point of contact for managers and employees, helping leaders navigate day-to-day people matters, maintaining our HR systems, coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities, and driving continuous improvement across our People & Culture function.

About the Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you'll be a key member of our People & Culture team, partnering with leaders to ensure our people processes are practical, consistent and support the needs of the business.
In this role you will:
Support leaders across the full employee lifecycle.
Provide day-to-day guidance and support on People & Culture policies, procedures and systems.
Help managers consistently apply People & Culture processes and business standards.
Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities while supporting leaders to attract and retain great people.
Prepare employment contracts, letters and employee documentation.
Coordinate employee inductions and probation review processes.
Maintain accurate employee records and workflows withinEmployment Hero.
Produce HR reports,



workforce metrics and people data to support informed decision-making.
Support workforce planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiencies.
Deliver responsive, practical and customer-focused support to leaders and employees.

About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys being part of the business, building relationships and supporting operational leaders to succeed.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Experience in a People & Culture, Human Resources or Recruitment role.
Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills.
Experience usingEmployment Herowill be highly regarded.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR information systems.




A disciplined approach to maintaining systems, records and documentation.
The confidence to support and guide managers while reinforcing consistent business processes.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A genuine customer-centric approach with a willingness to help others.
A continuous improvement mindset with the initiative to improve systems and processes.
Experience within manufacturing, engineering, defence, mining, logistics or another operational environment will be highly regarded.
A willingness to continue developing your People & Culture knowledge and capability.
