About the Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Conference & Events Sales Executive to join RACV on a parental leave fixed term contract.
With a comprehensive handover and training period, you'll step into an established role managing client enquiries, driving sales opportunities, and helping deliver outstanding events.
This prospect would suit a confident sales professional with experience in account management, business development, client services, events, or hospitality who enjoys building relationships and achieving results.

As a Conference & Events Sales Executive, you will be working closely with operational teams and event coordinators to ensure a seamless client experience.
Your key responsibilities include:
Managing conference and event enquiries from initial enquiry through to confirmationPreparing proposals,



quotations and event documentationConverting enquiries into confirmed businessBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsConducting client meetings and site inspectionsWorking closely with operational teams to ensure a seamless client experienceIdentifying opportunities to maximise revenue and grow business
What you'll need to be successful
Experience in sales, business development, account management, events or a similar client-facing roleA proven ability to build relationships and convert opportunities into businessStrong communication, negotiation and organisational skillsA proactive, customer-focused approachA positive attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environmentConference & Events or hospitality experience is highly regarded but not essential
