Our Client is seeking a technically strongService Specialistto act as the senior technical authority supporting our authorised service network across Australia and New Zealand.This is not a standard field service role.
It is a pivotal technical and corporate-facing position focused on advanced diagnostics, warranty assessment, root cause analysis, and long-term product improvement.
The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to join a globally backed, market‐leading manufacturing business where your technical expertise will directly influence product reliability, service quality, and customer outcomes.
You will operate as the key link between Service Agents, Sales teams, Product Development, and global equipment suppliers (including Miller), translating real-world technical issues into sustainable engineering solutions.

About You
You are a technically strong professional with a passion for diagnostics and problem‐solving within industrial electronics environments.
While senior experience is welcome, we are equally open to candidates with slightly less tenure who demonstrate robust capability, curiosity, and long‐term development potential.
You are comfortable operating autonomously, communicating with multiple stakeholders, and handling complex or high‐pressure service matters with professionalism.
You Will Bring:
Strong background in industrial electronics, power sources, control systems, or similar equipment
Proven ability to diagnose complex electrical and electronic faults
High proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics




Electrical licence highly regarded, or equivalent experience as an Electronic Technician or Field Service Engineer
Exposure to welding equipment or industrial machinery (advantageous, not essential)
Clear, professional communication skills with technicians, sales teams, and customers
Ability to manage difficult technical conversations and de‐escalate service issues effectively
