The Chance: This is a temporary opportunity with an immediate start through to June ****, with the possibility of extension or permanency.
We are seeking expressions of interest from current Western Australian Public Sector employees for a temporary acting opportunity as Senior Programs Officer.In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of waste policy and programs, with a strong focus on the planning, coordination and management of grants, agreements and funding initiatives that support environmental outcomes across Western Australia.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, providing advice, coordinating projects, monitoring program performance and contributing to policy and program development.The successful applicant will demonstrate experience in the delivery of grants or funding programs, sound analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage projects and budgets effectively.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret and apply legislation and policy in support of government objectives.
The role requires a collaborative approach, attention to detail and the ability to contribute positively within a multidisciplinary team environment.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced public sector professional looking to broaden their exposure to program management, stakeholder engagement and environmental policy delivery in a dynamic and supportive team.
