DBH Lawyers is seeking two outstanding Graduate or Junior Solicitors (0-3 years PAE) to join our highly regarded Medical Negligence team.
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with Equity Partner Peter Jackson, one of Australia's leading and award-winning medical negligence lawyers, and be involved in some of South Australia's most significant and complex plaintiff litigation matters.
This is not a back-room role.
From day one, you will gain hands-on experience, work closely with clients, barristers and medical experts, and play an key role in helping deserving clients through some of the most difficult periods of their lives.
About the role
You will work in a fast-paced, high-performing and collaborative team assisting with:
Working on complex medical negligence litigation matters
Reviewing and analysing medical records and expert reports
Drafting correspondence, pleadings and court documents
Liaising with clients, medical practitioners, counsel and experts
Conducting legal research and preparing advice
Attending court, mediations and conferences
Supporting senior practitioners on significant and high-value claims
No two days are the same, and you will have genuine opportunities to develop your advocacy and litigation skills.
About you
You may be a recent graduate or have up to three years' post-admission experience.

Are passionate about litigation and dispute resolution

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Are highly organised and detail oriented
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Are eager to learn and build a long-term career in plaintiff litigation




Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to a team
Previous experience in personal injury or medical negligence law is advantageous but not essential.
