We're looking for an Exploration Geologist with 2–5 years' experience to join S2 Resources and help drive the next phase of discovery across our project portfolio in Western Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.
You'll be involved in all stages of the exploration cycle, from initial planning, to drill supervision and field-based management, through to data review, interpretation, and new target generation.
As part of a small, highly collaborative team, you'll have the prospect to contribute ideas, take ownership of a project, and see your work directly influence exploration and business outcomes.

The Opportunity
This role offers an excellent balance of campaign-style field work and office-based technical work, based in Perth, Western Australia.
You'll work across a range of exploration programs, from drilling and sampling through to data integration, geological interpretation and follow-up planning.
As part of a small team, you'll be close to the decision-making process and have the chance to take the lead on your own project.




Working closely with S2's experienced exploration geologists, you'll gain technical geological and exploration business exposure, and have a genuine influence over where exploration goes next.
What To Expect:
Take a lead-role in the design, scheduling and oversight of drilling programs (including aircore, RC and diamond) to deliver high-quality geological data for analysis, including maintaining rigorous QAQC protocols.
Overseeing and supporting field logistics and camp operations
Planning, execution and interpretation of geochemical programs
Working with geophysical consultants to plan and undertake geophysical surveys
Interpretation and target generation of results, including planning of the next exploration campaign
Liaise with numerous stakeholders, and ensure ongoing positive community engagement through effective communication of exploration activities

Display excellent time management and organisational skills and demonstrate initiative.
You enjoy working outdoors, are comfortable working in remote, and often physically challenging environments.
Experience:Minimum two (2) years' of relevant exploration geology experience, preferably working in gold and/or base metals environments, and hands-on experience with drill rig management and logging is favorable.Experience with geological software packages such as QGIS, Leapfrog and IoGas will be highly regarded.
Qualifications:A tertiary-level geoscience degree (honours or master's level will be highly regarded).
A current unencumbered Australian "C" Class Manual Drivers License.
