Class Teacher - Phonics Lead
(September **** Start)
Location: WF12 Pay Rate: £135-£180 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: September **** Contract: Full-Time
Are you a passionate and motivated Primary Teacher with a strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development?
We are seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher specialising in Phonics to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the WF12 area from September ****.
This is an excellent prospect for a teacher who is committed to raising attainment and helping young learners develop the essential reading and writing skills needed for future success.
The Role
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality phonics lessons and literacy interventions.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children can thrive.
Assess, track and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote excellent phonics practice across the school.
Support pupils to develop confidence, fluency and a lifelong love of reading.
Contribute to wider school life and ongoing professional development.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has recent experience teaching within a primary school setting.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of phonics schemes and early reading strategies.
Has a proven ability to support and accelerate pupil progress in literacy.
Possesses excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
Is committed to providing engaging and inspiring learning experiences for all pupils.
