The OpportunityBased in Picton, WA, the Operations Manager is accountable for achieving targets for operating efficiencies, productivity, equipment utilisation, while ensuring that commercial and operational performance targets are met.
Provide frontline leadership to a diverse team of ~55 employees across the Southwest portfolio.Drive a culture of compliance and safety to ensure effective risk and compliance initiatives are established and promoted.Ensure that appropriate performance reviews, talent management and succession plans are in place to maximise engagement and retention of employees.Ensure that operational requirements are met with available assets.Monitor and manage the operational activities of the Branch and be accountable for the overall operational performance including with a key focus on value drivers.Manage a substantial local government waste services collection network.Ensure that compliance and governance requirements are well managed.Identification and implementation of operational efficiencies to achieve exemplary customer service practices and meet contractual obligations within financial and operational targetsWork with customers and the Sales team to maximise revenue growth opportunities (organic and new business)Ensure site equipment is purchased, maintained and operated appropriately in accordance with requirements,



and identify additional equipment needs to provide effective service deliveryInvestigate, report and manage vehicle incidents/accidents, property damage and personal injury
About YouOur ideal candidate will be a commercially focused, process-driven, people leader, ideally with relevant industry experience (Transport, Waste Management, FMCG, etc.) with excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills.
This role would suit a Senior Operations Supervisor looking for the next career step and will act as the 2IC to the Branch Manager, as required.
