About Oakey Health Centre
Oakey Health Centre is located at the Army Aviation Centre (AAC), 3km outside Oakey.
It is the training area for Australian Army Aviation and home to the 126 Squadron (Cougar helicopters) of the Republic of Singapore Air Force.
With approximately 500 members, the health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, pharmaceutical, and mental health services.
It also serves as an emergency response centre for AAC.
This role is for Monday, Wednesday & Thursday day shifts within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.




What You'll Do
Deliver clinical dental services to Defence membersProvide a full range of general dental care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning and preventative careUndertake procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal treatments, periodontal care and minor oral surgeryPromote and maintain oral health through patient education, preventative strategies and ongoing careUse diagnostic tools including dental imaging to support clinical decision-making and treatment planning
What You Bring
Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Dentist with AHPRAMinimum two years' full time (or equivalent) post graduate clinical experience, with recent practice within the last five yearsStrong clinical capability across a broad range of general dentistry proceduresCurrent First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificationAustralian Citizenship required for baseline security clearanceCommitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
