What we are looking for:
We're looking for a full time Mechanical Fitter to hit the
ground running at our industry-leading mushroom growing facility in Monarto,
near Murray Bridge and Mount Barker in South Australia.
As part of a small and supportive maintenance team, you'll
play a key role in keeping our state-of-the-art operation running smoothly 52
weeks a year.
From scheduled maintenance to urgent repairs, no two days are the
same – and your problem-solving skills will make a real impact.
What you'll do:
Carry
out preventative and scheduled maintenance to ensure plant and equipment
operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Respond




to machinery breakdowns and perform timely repairs to minimise disruption
to production operations.
Identify
equipment issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that
enhance performance and reliability.
Manage
spare parts and maintenance inventory, ensuring critical stock is
available to support operational requirements.
Work
closely with maintenance and production teams to reduce downtime, optimise
equipment availability, and maintain a secure workplace in line with
OHS&E; standards.
What you'll bring:
You'll
be a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (or higher) with proven experience
in industrial maintenance and plant equipment repairs.
Strong
fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across mechanical systems, with
the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Hands-on
experience working with conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic
systems, and other industrial plant equipment.
A
proactive, safety-focused approach, with the ability to work independently
and contribute positively within a team environment.
A
current C Class Driver's Licence, with an Electrical B Class Licence
viewed favourably but not essential.
Please note:Rotating shifts between 5.00am–*****pm,
with occasional weekends, public holidays and call-outs.
