Roman Drilling is looking for Driller's Offsider to help our experienced Driller with constructing water bores in Townsville and surrounding areas.
Key Requirements
HR Drivers Licence
Extensive manual laboring experience and be physically fit to cope with the demands of the position
Hard-working and reliable team player
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Some mechanical knowledge is beneficial
Pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
Satisfactory Police clearance
Must be Townsville based, this is not FIFO position
Tasks & responsibilities
Transport the drill rig and equipment, setting up, rigging down, moving, making the hole, placing and sealing casing, and grouting bores.
Be able to organise, maintain, and manage equipment for each drill site.
Load, drive, and unload heavy vehicles.
Work as part of a small team.
Add and remove drill rods and other downhole tools.
Assist with routine maintenance.
Other duties as required.
