Salary: $72,000 to $82,000 per annum plus superannuation
About the Role
MANN COMMUNITY SUPPORT SERVICES is seeking compassionate and motivated Aged or Disabled Carers to join our growing team.
This position involves providing high-quality, person-centred care and support to older people and individuals living with disabilities, enabling them to live safely, independently, and with dignity within their homes and the community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance.
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and the safe use of mobility equipment.
Support clients with daily living activities including meal preparation, household cleaning, laundry, shopping, and community participation.
Assist with medication reminders in accordance with individual care plans and organisational policies.
Provide emotional support and companionship while promoting clients' social inclusion and independence.
Escort clients to appointments, recreational activities, and community outings where required.
Monitor clients' health and wellbeing and promptly report any concerns or changes to supervisors.
Maintain accurate care records and documentation in accordance with organisational and NDIS requirements.
Work collaboratively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.
Comply with workplace policies, work health and safety requirements, and the NDIS Code of Conduct.
Essential Requirements
AQF Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability,



or a higher relevant qualification.
At least 12 months of full-time (or equivalent part-time or casual) experience in aged care, disability support, or community care.
Current Australian Driver's Licence with access to a reliable vehicle and comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
Applicants must be willing to accept shift allocations at client locations across metropolitan, regional, and outer regional South Australia, depending on operational requirements and client care needs.
Flexibility to travel between client locations is an essential requirement of this position.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a caring and respectful approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Current National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and other required NDIS compliance certificates.
Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling certificates.
