We are seeking a motivatedMechanical Services Draftsmanto join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a draftsman to implement their skills while working on a variety of commercial projects.
Office located in Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
You will be required to work from the office [potential work from home on occasions]
About the Role
You will support our engineering and design team in producing schedules of equipment on awarded projects and producing accurate mechanical services drawings, with exposure to HVAC, plumbing, and fire services (depending on experience).
Training and mentoring will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and update mechanical services drawings using AutoCAD (Revit experience advantageous)
Assist in the design and documentation of HVAC / Mechanical Services systems
Coordinate drawings with engineers, architects, and other consultants
Revise drawings based on mark-ups and project changes
Maintain drawing registers and project documentation
Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards and codes
About You
Qualification or current study in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or Drafting
Minimum 2 years' experience required in mechanical services drafting
Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Positive communication and time-management skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
