Are you a reliable, safety‐focused Trade Assistant looking for a stable town‐based role with plenty of variety?
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical work, operating forklifts, assisting trades, and being part of a supportive team that values safety, mateship and high standards.
As a Trade Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day logistics and yard operations, including:
High‐volume forklift operation
Loading/unloading trucks and handling parts and materials
General labouring, housekeeping, and yard/workshop upkeep
Assembly and dismantling work
Performing spotter duties
Following all safety, environmental and quality requirements
Completing job paperwork, risk assessments and daily documentation
Maintaining equipment, vehicles and PPE to company standards
This is a town-based position with consistent hours and no requirement for FIFO/DIDO.
The successful applicant will have:
MR or HR Class Driver's Licence
Current Forklift Licence (LF)
Current Dogging Licence (Desirable)
Minimum 2 years' relevant industry experience
Strong safety focus and adherence to procedures
Solid work ethic, reliability and commitment to high standards
Ability to work effectively in a team with varying supervision level
Problem solving and decision-making skills
Great communication and interpersonal skills
