The Role
As part of our Service Team, you'll carry out a range of maintenance services across both our Workshop and in the field, including pre-delivery, planned maintenance, repairs and servicing of the WFL forklift fleet and retail equipment.
This role involves the following core duties and functions:
Carry out allocated work in accordance with quality standards
Perform service and repairs on our own rental fleet
Perform service and repairs on a variety of customer-owned equipment
Complete required job paperwork via our Baseplan operating system, using a company-provided tablet
Maintain the condition and security of WFL tools, plant and service manuals
Work safely within company and statutory WH&S; requirements
The Right Person for the Role
The successful candidate will be experienced and skilled in their trade, and enjoys a challenge.
You take pride in your professional approach, and bring a positive attitude to the team.
Specifically, you will display the following:
A mechanical trade qualification is preferred for this role with varied backgrounds considered, including automotive, mobile plant, heavy diesel and auto electrical
Strong knowledge of machinery, forklifts or construction equipment is highly regarded, but not essential
The ability to show initiative and strong problem-solving skills, providing excellent diagnostics, would be viewed favourably
Demonstrated ability to be reliable and punctual
Willingness to be an integral part of the team, and work autonomously showing initiative when required
A willingness to learn current skills and attend further training as required
