About the Role
As our Practice Manager, you will oversee the smooth and effective running of the practice, ensuring high standards of patient service, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and staff leadership.
You will work closely with our GPs, nurses, reception team, and allied health professionals to create an environment where both patients and staff thrive.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the daily operations of the practice.
· Lead, mentor, and support administrative and clinical staff.
· Oversee rostering, recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
· Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, Medicare requirements, and relevant legislation.
· Manage practice finances, budgeting, payroll, and reporting.
· Monitor and improve operational efficiency and patient experience.
· Coordinate quality improvement initiatives and risk management.
· Liaise with external providers, suppliers, and healthcare stakeholders.
· The ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.

About You
The successful applicant will have:
· Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a senior healthcare management role.
· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
· Sound knowledge of Medicare, accreditation standards, and general practice operations.
· Experience with medical practice management software (Best Practice, MedicalDirector, or similar).
· Financial management and HR experience.
· The ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
