Senior Accountant
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles will be advantageous.
Minimum 10 years' relevant accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles, including cost accounting, inventory management, and production costing.
Knowledge and experience of Sage X3 will be advantageous.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial controls.
Sound knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and South African financial regulations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Must be dedicated, ethical, professional, and results-driven.
Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)
Manage the accounting and financial reporting functions of the Lichtenburg Cement Factory.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Maintain and monitor accurate inventory,



production costing, and cost accounting records.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, audits, and tax submissions.
Analyse financial results and provide recommendations to improve profitability and cost control.
Drive financial controls and continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
Work closely with operational and departmental managers to support business decision-making.
Other duties as assigned.
