Reporting to the Respiratory & Sleep Outpatient Supervisor, this role is integral to co-ordinating clinics and providing administrative support including referral management and RoPP billing requirements for Respiratory and Sleep Clinics and the Respiratory Function Unit
Duties for the role will include:
Liaising between patients and RSS consultants and nurses.
Providing assistance to doctors and patients with general enquiries and special requests
Preparing clinic timetables and ensuring efficient booking of clinics
Ensure that all enquiries either telephone or counter are handled in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner
Dealing with customer and client enquires in a timely manner and relay telephone messages to members of the team, either by email, written message, or paging clinicians
Providing a friendly and approachable Reception service
About you:
Experience providing an effective and strong patient focus within a patient service workplace
Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment
Ability to demonstrate tact, courtesy and prudence when dealing with enquiries




Highly developed communication skills to interact effectively with a variety of professional and nonprofessional people, including patients
Ability to work under limited supervision and with a high degree of independence, determine priorities, perform well under pressure and forward plan
