Council is seeking an application from an enthusiastic, experienced and suitably qualified person to join our team as Cadet Building Surveyor or Building Inspector.
In this role you will be presented with numerous opportunities to demonstrate your professional abilities by providing proper and thorough administration of the Building Act, Regulations and Council policies throughout the municipality.
About you:
The successful candidate will have:
- excellent knowledge of the Victorian Building Legislation and the relevant building standards through the coordination and effective administration of enforcement activities.
You pride yourself on your expert technical advice relevant to this position.
In addition, you have experience operating as a Building Inspector and have current registration with the Building Plumbing Commission in the class of (IN-L) or (IN-U), Alternately studying Building Surveying and have undertaken works of similar nature and pose excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Remuneration:
Cadet Building Surveyor - Band 5 - $76,****** - $88,****** per annum plus employer superannuation.
Building Inspector - Band 6 - $92,****** - $102,****** per annum plus employer superannuation.
