Recruitment Vision is currently seeking an ICT Support Technician on behalf of our client, a leading South Australian resources company.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a close-knit Information Services team supporting both a corporate office and regional operational sites.
You'll provide frontline ICT support while assisting with the administration and maintenance of critical business systems across a modern Microsoft environment.
This position will be predominantly site-based, with periodic rotation back to the Adelaide office.
The anticipated roster is 8 days on, 6 days off, although the final roster is still being finalised.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Information Services Superintendent, you'll provide technical support while ensuring users across the business receive responsive, high-quality ICT services.
Key responsibilities include:Providing Helpdesk support across the business.Supporting Windows 11 desktops, laptops, iPads, mobile phones and printers.Troubleshooting Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams.Creating and managing user accounts, permissions and security access.Supporting meeting room technology and audio-visual conferencing equipment.Maintaining ICT assets, hardware and software registers.Assisting with Microsoft Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra and network administration.Supporting ICT projects, upgrades and system rollouts.Maintaining accurate service records using the IT Service Management platform.Working closely with internal stakeholders and external technology providers.Assisting in maintaining secure, reliable ICT infrastructure across corporate and operational sites.About You To be successful, you will ideally have:Previous experience in an ICT Support Technician,

This position is responsible for providing front-line technical support for desktop computers, printers, and related IT hardware and software.
Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, performing computer repairs and maintenance, installing and configuring devices, and supporting users with common IT problems.
The technician will document support requests, maintain accurate records of work performed, and escalate complex issues when needed.
Collaboration with other IT team members and clear communication with end users will be essential to ensuring reliable and secure technology operations.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.Candidates should possess skills in Desktop Computers and Computer Repair, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of workstations.Candidates should possess Printer Support skills, including setup, connectivity, and routine maintenance for office printing devices.Relevant skills such as knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows), basic networking concepts, and familiarity with common office applications are beneficial.Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, accessible language.Ability to work in office, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.A certificate or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Experience in an IT support or help desk role within a corporate or office environment is an advantage.
