Mineral Springs Hotel is seeking aGuest Service Agentto join our Front Office & Guest Services team in Hepburn Springs, Victoria.
This is acasual positionthat offers flexibility whilst maintaining the high standards of hospitality excellence our guests expect.
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a vital role in creating memorable experiences and ensuring their stay with us is exceptional.
Your warmth, professionalism and attention to detail will directly contribute to our reputation as a premier destination in Hepburn Springs.
What you'll be doing
Welcoming guests upon arrival and providing check-in services with a genuine, friendly demeanour
Responding to guest enquiries and requests promptly and professionally, offering knowledgeable recommendations about hotel facilities, local attractions and services
Processing bookings, payments and administrative tasks accurately using hotel management systems
Maintaining clear communication with other departments to ensure guest needs are met throughout their stay
Handling guest concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, working towards satisfactory resolutions
Managing concierge services including restaurant reservations
Performing front desk duties including key management and security protocols
Contributing to a clean, organised and welcoming reception area at all times
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a guest-facing or customer service role, ideally within the hospitality industry




Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with diverse guests
Robust organisational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale software; experience with hotel management systems is advantageous
A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in busy situations
Reliability and flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues
