The Role
We are seeking an experienced Furniture Installer Team Leaderto join our team, based at our Beverley warehouse.
This position is full-time, working Monday to Friday.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in delivering quality installations, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Working across a variety of commercial projects—including corporate offices, education facilities, government departments, healthcare, and workplace fit-outs—you'll lead installation crews to deliver outstanding results safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
About the Role
As the Lead installer, you will be responsible for delivering daily installation activities, coordinating your teams, and ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of 2-4 installers across multiple sites
Delivery, assembly and installation of office furniture (including workstation fitout)
Read and interpret floor plans,
furniture layouts and installation drawings
Liaise professionally with builders, project managers, site supervisors and clients
Make informed on-site decisions to resolve issues and keep projects on schedule while maintaining exceptional workmanship
Check, load, convey, unload, deliver and install company/customer goods in a safe and careful manner
Use Company vehicles in accordance with Company policy
Communicate with our staff, customers and suppliers in a safe, courteous, professional and appropriate manner that lives up to our reputation of exceeding our customer's needs & expectations.
Undertake warehouse duties when required
Attributes to be successful in this role:
Experience installing commercial office furniture
Previous experience as a Team Leader, Leading hand or Supervisor (Highly desirable)
Ability to read plans, layouts and installation drawings
MR Drivers' license (highly desirable)
Forklift Ticket (highly desirable)
Physically fit, able to lift and move heavy items
A talent for "working with your hands"; technical prowess; and experience with tool.
An eye for detail and quality workmanship
Ability to assemble furniture - onsite and warehouse
Demonstrated excellent customer service, as you are the face of our business when interacting with our customers.
