Known for our progressive approach and deduction to our residents, we're on the hunt for a Business Support Officer to join our vibrant team.
As theBusiness Support Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting the City's business and economic development initiatives.
Working closely with the Senior Economic Development Officer and the wider City Growth and Development team, you'll help connect local businesses with opportunities, coordinate projects and events, manage communications, and contribute to the growth and vibrancy of Prospect's business precincts
From supporting trader groups and business workshops to creating engaging digital content and coordinating events, you'll help deliver initiatives that strengthen our local economy and foster a thriving business community.This is a Fixed-term 12 month, Full-time position covering Maternity leave.
Here's what you'll dive into:
Building strong relationships with local businesses, traders, community groups, and key stakeholders.
Supporting the Village Heart and Churchill Road Marketing Workgroups to deliver successful outcomes.
Creating and distributing business communications, digital newsletters, and social media content that showcases local businesses and initiatives.
Assisting with the planning and delivery of events, workshops, and networking opportunities that encourage business growth and engagement.




Contributing to the promotion and brand awareness of Prospect's key business precincts, including Prospect Road and Churchill Road.
Keeping business information current across digital platforms, including website content and social media channels.
