We're looking for a confident and people-first Duty Manager - Overnights to help lead the daily rhythm of the hotel.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a quick-moving environment, leads with calm energy, and knows how to turn service into something memorable.You'll be the face of the hotel during your shift — supporting teams across Front Office, Food & Beverage and Guest Experience while ensuring every guest interaction feels warm, seamless and distinctly Andaz Gold Coast.
What you'll doLead daily hotel operations across guest-facing departmentsSupport, coach and motivate teams to deliver exceptional serviceHandle guest feedback and resolve issues with confidence and careMaintain operational standards, presentation and safety across the propertyWork closely with department leaders to ensure smooth communication and service flowCreate genuine connections with guests and elevate the everyday guest experienceSupport VIP arrivals, special events and high-occupancy periods
What we're looking forPrevious leadership experience in hotels, hospitality or lifestyle venuesA calm, solutions-focused approach under pressureStrong communication and relationship-building skillsA passion for people, service and creating memorable experiencesFlexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidaysKnowledge of Opera or similar hotel systems is highly regardedMust already have current and ongoing working rights for Australia
