About the role
This is an exciting role within the business.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this role is responsible for a wide range of general Fitting and Machining jobs both onsite and in our brand-new Townsville Workshop.
Experience with rotating equipment is desirable however if you have a great can-do attitude then we want to hear from you.




Rezitech is looking for a very hands-on person who has a natural drive to get jobs completed.

The key functions for this role are as follows:
Operate centre lathes
Operate milling and drilling machines
Operate surface and bench grinders
Operate general hand tools (electric & pneumatic)
Dismantle pumps and equipment (general)
Clean parts (general)
Grit, garnet and blast components
Rebuild components with Belzona
Apply Belzona coatings
Assemble pumps and equipment
General house keeping
Comply with, and comment to improve, Rezitech OHS policy
Carry out all onsite work
Maintain all in-house equipment
Operate welding equipment (mig & arc)
Train and direct contractors
Work with various team members to deliver best service for our clients
Provide relevant reporting to management
Skills and experience
Can work autonomously and think for yourself.
Proven track record as an effective team player.
Willingness to learn from others
Qualified Fitter/Machinist.
Takes an active approach to problem solving.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise work as required.
Can generate their own work and see opportunities to help support and add value to the department and business
