Cranecorp is seeking a proactive and capable Safety Advisorto support and continually improve our health, safety and injury management systems across our operations.
This is an opportunity to work closely with our existing Safety team, operational teams, leadership and site personnel to drive a positive safety culture while supporting compliance, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
About You
You are a practical, people-focused safety professional who can build solid relationships across all levels of the business.
Whether you are an emerging Safety Advisor or a seasoned professional, you have a strong understanding of safety systems and enjoy working both in the field and behind the scenes to improve safety outcomes.
Ideally, you will have:
Qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Valid Drivers Licence and White Card/Construction Safety Card
Experience in a Safety Advisor, Coordinator or similar HSE role within mining, construction, transport, heavy industry or related sectors.
Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations and industry best practice.
Experience maintaining and improving safety management systems and documentation.
Exposure to safety audits, compliance reviews and corrective action management.
Experience conducting risk assessments, inspections and workplace safety observations.
Injury management and Return to Work coordination experience, including assisting with workers compensation claims.
Experience participating in incident investigations and implementing corrective actions (ICAM and/or TapRooT experience highly regarded).
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and coach employees, supervisors and managers.
Confidence facilitating toolbox meetings, safety presentations and training sessions.
Experience working under ISO ***** and ****** accreditations, and assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of these accreditations.




Strong administrative and systems skills with the ability to analyse data, track actions and maintain accurate records.
A willingness to travel throughout Western Australia as required.
About the Role
Reporting to our established HSEQT Manager, you will play a key role in supporting Cranecorp's safety, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives across our sites, workshops and regional depots.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the ongoing development, implementation and improvement of Cranecorp's safety management systems.
Providing practical safety advice and guidance to operational teams and leaders.
Regular travel to client sites and regional depots throughout WA to provide safety support and operational assistance.
Assisting with internal and external safety audits and ensuring corrective actions are effectively managed and closed out.
Monitoring legislative and client requirements and assisting with compliance across the business.
Conducting site inspections, workplace assessments and risk reviews.
Supporting project work, shutdowns and maintenance campaigns through on-site safety leadership and guidance.
Managing incident reporting, investigation and corrective action processes.
Assisting with injury management, Return to Work programs and workers compensation claims.
Developing and reviewing procedures, SWMS, management plans and other safety documentation.
Promoting a positive safety culture through engagement, coaching and ongoing communication with employees and contractors.
