CatholicCare is looking for resilient, compassionate professionals to join our Permanency Support Program as Youth Workers across the Central Coast.
This is a unique opportunity to move from managing crisis to creating lasting change.
You'll support young people aged ***** who have experienced significant trauma, abuse and neglect.
These young people have complex emotional and behavioural needs, requiring calm, confident professionals who can build trust, maintain boundaries, de-escalate challenging situations and provide consistent, therapeutic support.
If you've worked in corrections, custodial services or other complex care settings, you'll already understand the importance of structure, resilience, teamwork and professional relationships.
We'll provide the trauma-informed training to help you apply those skills in a child-focused setting.
Role Details
Multiple Permanent Part-Time (30 hours per week) and Casual opportunitiesMultiple homes across the Central Coast24/7 rotating roster including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays
We're Looking For People Who
Have experience working in Correctional Services, Juvenile Justice, Youth Justice, Custodial Services,

What You'll Need
Diploma of Community Services (or currently studying), or willingness to enrolExperience working with people with complex behaviours (highly regarded)Understanding of trauma-informed practice or willingness to learnWorking With Children CheckNational Criminal History CheckCurrent NSW Driver LicenceAccess to a Comprehensively Insured VehicleCurrent First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain before commencement)
