About the role
We are seeking a reliable Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our team at the Pennington Eye Clinic in North Adelaide.
This is acasual/part-time position with the potential to work up to 4 days per week, offering flexibility within a supportive and professional medical environment.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional front-line customer service and administrative support to our patients and the broader medical team.
What you'll be doing
Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and procedures
Manage patient records and databases in accordance with medical regulations
Process patient payments, invoices and claims
Liaise with medical professionals and other healthcare providers as required
Provide general administrative support to the clinic
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Administrator, ideally within the healthcare industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, medical staff and other stakeholders
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail to ensure productive and accurate record-keeping
Proficient in using medical administration software and general office technology
A team-oriented approach with a genuine interest in providing high-quality patient care
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
