About the
position
We are looking for an experienced
cleaner to join our team at the City of Bayswater on a permanent,
full-time basis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for
maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout
the facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming setting for staff
and patrons.
Key responsibilities include
performing general cleaning duties to a high standard, managing
cleaning products and equipment safely, responding to additional
tasks, and maintaining equipment.
You will ensure safety protocols
are followed, report issues, and maintain communication with your
Supervisor.
Adherence to the City's values, policies, and safety
culture is essential.
About the
person
We are looking for someone with




experience in general commercial cleaning who can work well both
independently and as part of a team.
You should have a basic
understanding of written and oral communication, including the
ability to follow instructions and work schedules.
A valuable awareness
of cleaning products, safety procedures, and Safety Data Sheets
(SDS) is essential.
The ideal candidate is committed to safe
working practices, meets deadlines, and follows the City's values
and Code of Conduct.
You will work cooperatively with colleagues
and foster a positive, inclusive environment where everyone is
treated with respect.
You must also possess a valid 'C'
Class Driver's Licence.
Training in the safe use of chemicals and a
current First Aid Certificate are desirable.
