The Role:

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Leadership team to maintain the success of City Beach as one of Australia's leading fashion retailers, by ensuring outstanding customer service and people experiences.
What you'll be doing:
Manage / lead and optimize all aspects of store operations
Customer and employee first mindset, we are all about our people
Collaborate with the Store Manager and Head Office teams to manage and monitor KPI's ensuring your team delivers results and performance objectives to Company Standards
Assist the Store Manager to build rosters and manage wages.
Confident working with volume, high foot traffic and large amounts of stock you will strive to minimize shrinkage and promote sales growth, while maintaining visual merchandising and presentation standards in the store
What we are looking for:

Lead the team to meet KPIs and operational goals across Sales, People, Compliance, Visual Merchandising, Wages, and Safety.
Support daily operations, including team coordination, stock control, sales optimisation, and store presentation.




Assist Store Manager by completing operational tasks and supporting performance management.
Help manage wages to balance profitability, efficiency, and customer experience.
Track sales conversion and customer engagement, contributing ideas to improve results.
Provide transparent leadership, feedback, and training to build team capability.
Maintain a safe, compliant, and positive workplace in line with WHS and company policies.
Ensure adherence to policies and employment conditions, escalating issues when needed.
Champion retail projects and initiatives, ensuring the team understands and delivers on key objectives.
