About the Role
Teys Australia is
seeking an Engine Driver/Trade Assistant to join the Maintenance Team based at
our Biloela processing site in Central Queensland.
The role will be responsible
for operating, repairing and maintaining industrial engine steam and other
mechanical equipment.
Other responsibilities
include:
Operating and maintaining
ammonia refrigeration plants to ensure effective and safe operation.
Monitoring and managing
steam boilers, ensuring they are performing within required parameters.
Conducting regular
inspections, repairs, and maintenance on equipment to avoid unscheduled
downtime.
Collaborating with the
maintenance team to perform routine preventive maintenance activities.
Adhering to all safety
guidelines and best practices to ensure a secure working environment.
Continuously monitoring and
evaluating equipment performance, making necessary adjustments as required
About You:
You must have
the following experience/skills:
Familiarity with relevant industry regulations




and safety practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving
skills.
Ability to work independently and under
pressure with minimal supervision.
Good organisational and time management
abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability to work a rotating lifestyle
roster consisting of 12 hour shifts.
Desirable:
Possessing
boiler operation licenses to operate and maintain boilers.
Experience in operating ammonia refrigeration
plants.
Forklift license or
experience operating forklifts.
Mechanical background and
understanding.
Additional certifications or licenses related
to refrigeration, boilers, or related fields.
