Role Description This is a full-time, in office Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role based in Adelaide, SA.
The CNA will assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and feeding, while promoting comfort and independence.
Day-to-day tasks include taking and recording vital signs, reporting changes in patient condition to nursing staff, supporting safe transfers and positioning, and maintaining a clean, safe patient environment.
The CNA will help with basic clinical support such as preparing patients for procedures, stocking supplies, and following infection prevention and control protocols.
The role also involves providing emotional support,



respectful communication with patients and families, accurate documentation, and active participation in team meetings and handovers.
Qualifications
Current Certified Nursing Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and eligibility to work in a healthcare setting in South Australia.Experience providing hands-on patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility support, and safe patient handling.Knowledge of basic clinical procedures, vital signs monitoring, infection control practices, and workplace health and safety standards.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and interact respectfully with diverse patients and families.Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and accurate documentation skills, including use of electronic health records where required.Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and remain calm in fast-paced or challenging situations.Commitment to person-centered care, confidentiality, and ethical practice in all patient interactions.Previous experience in hospital, aged care, or community health settings is highly regarded; CPR certification and ongoing professional development are beneficial.
