About the role
Your Nursing Care is seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join our growing casual community nursing team across the Fraser Coast.
Our nursing team comes from a diverse range of clinical backgrounds including surgical nursing, breast cancer nursing, stroke and medical nursing, aged care, community nursing and midwifery — bringing together a wealth of knowledge, compassion and experience to support our clients within the community.
While our recent contract role has now been filled, we are continuing to grow our casual nursing workforce to support increasing community demand and ongoing service expansion.
We understand many nurses are looking for flexibility alongside hospital roles, family commitments, study or simply better work-life balance.
This role has been designed to provide meaningful community nursing work within a supportive, nurse-led environment.

As a Community Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role delivering high-quality, person-centred care to clients within their homes and throughout the local community.
What you'll be doing
• Providing holistic nursing care to clients across NDIS, aged care and private services
• Completing nursing assessments and contributing to individualised care planning




• Supporting wound care, continence management, medication administration and general clinical nursing interventions
• Collaborating with families, support workers, allied health professionals and other healthcare providers
• Educating clients and families regarding health management and ongoing care needs
• Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Supporting clients to remain independent, secure and connected within their community
• Assisting with community palliative care and complex clinical supports where required
What we're looking for
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous nursing experience within hospital, aged care or community settings advantageous - looking for a change?

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining well-supported within a collaborative team
• Confidence using electronic clinical systems and documentation platforms
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• A genuine passion for compassionate, person-centred care

• Community nursing or high intensity support
