As our organisation continues to grow, we are seeking an organised, professional, and motivatedHR & Administration Assistantto join our team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position supporting the daily operations of the organisation across human resources, administration, recruitment, compliance, and staff rostering.
The successful applicant will work closely with Operations Managers, SIL Managers, the Service Manager, support workers, and other members of the management team to help ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate staff rosters in consultation with Operations Managers and service leaders.
Support recruitment processes, including advertising vacancies, screening applications, arranging interviews, and preparing onboarding documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records, compliance documents, personnel files, and training information.
Assist with HR policies, procedures, employment documentation, and general HR administration.
Provide administrative support to management, SIL Managers, and support workers.
Respond professionally to employee enquiries relating to HR processes, rosters, and workplace documentation.
Assist with performance management documentation and related administrative processes.
Monitor staffing requirements and support workforce planning.
Help ensure rostering and employment practices comply with NDIS requirements, Fair Work obligations, and organisational policies.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in human resources, administration, recruitment, workforce coordination, or staff rostering.
Experience within disability services, aged care, healthcare, or community services will be highly regarded.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy and quick-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Close attention to detail and accuracy.
Confidence using HR, rostering, and general office software systems.
Professional, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Desirable
Experience working within an NDIS provider environment.
Knowledge of Fair Work legislation, employment conditions, and workforce compliance.
Experience coordinating rosters and responding to short-notice staffing changes.
Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
