We're currently seeking experienced Track Welders to join our team on a Permanent basis.
This role is ideal for individuals with proven welding experience who are safety-focused and committed to delivering quality outcomes on rail projects.
Job Requirements
As a Track Welder, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability and integrity of rail infrastructure.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing track welding construction, repairs and maintenance to client standards
Safely operating welding equipment and track maintenance tools
Conducting risk assessments (Take 5s, JHAs, TRAs) prior to commencing work
Inspecting, checking and assessing equipment prior to use
Reporting hazards, faulty equipment and unsafe conditions
Working under safeworking rules and Protection Officer instructions
Engaging in effective worksite communication and teamwork
Acting professionally and promoting a strong safety culture on site
Job Responsibilities
We're seeking motivated individuals who are:
Qualified in aluminothermic
Competent in handling and operating welding equipment safely
Knowledgeable in rail safeworking rules, hot works procedures and safety systems
Effective communicators who thrive in team environments
Strongly committed to safety and quality outcomes
To be successful, you must:
Hold a Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure
Hold a Current Safeworking Accreditation / Track Access Permit
Hold a Construction White/Blue Card
Be able to pass a CAT 3 Rail Medical
Pass drug and alcohol screening
Hold a valid C Class Driver's Licence
