We are looking for an execution-first Product Engineer to join our foundation team.
At emble, every Build engagement starts with business analysis.
Our pipeline of work is identified and scoped before an engineer enters the room.
You will be working directly with Emma and our business analysis layer to take enterprise co-development projects from a clearly defined workflow problem to a working, production-ready solution.
The work is specific, commercial, and grounded in what the business actually needs.
You are not being handed a vague brief.
You are being handed a scoped problem with a real client waiting for the outcome.
What You'll Do
Enterprise Co-Development: Partner with the emble team and business analysts to build custom solutions for workflow problems that have already been identified and validated in the client pipeline.
Every build starts with a business case, not a blank canvas.
Workflow to Product: Translate scoped enterprise workflows into agentic systems, automation pipelines, and full-stack tools that change how an organisation actually operates, not just how it talks about operating.
Rapid Prototyping: Compress traditional engineering cycles into days.




Build and deploy proofs of concept that solve real bottlenecks and create momentum inside a client organisation.
Full-Stack Ownership: Own your features end to end, from vector database architecture and API orchestration through to clean, functional client-facing interfaces.
Deploy with Confidence: Safely integrate LLM orchestrators with enterprise data, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments, Azure and AWS infrastructure, and sovereign cloud repositories.
MCP integration experience is a strong advantage.
Evaluate and Iterate: Design prompt engineering frameworks and LLM evaluation pipelines that make agent behaviour reliable, testable, and auditable, not just impressive in a demo.
Who You Are
This role is open to a graduate who is genuinely AI-native through to an experienced engineer who has shipped production systems.
What matters most is not your years of experience.
It is your ability to understand the workflows that matter to a business, connect that understanding to a technical solution, and build something that delivers the impact the business actually needs.
Workflow-First Thinker: You start with the business problem, not the technology.
You can sit in a room with a client, understand what is slowing them down,



and immediately see the path from that problem to a working solution.
AI-Native Builder: You live in modern AI IDEs (Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf) and treat LLMs as a force multiplier for your engineering output.
Full-Stack Fluid: Strong fundamentals across full-stack web development (Python, React, TypeScript, FastAPI, Node.js), vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant or similar), and containerised deployment (Docker).
Security-Aware and Sovereign by Default: You understand data residency, access controls, and the Australian Privacy Act and you build to that standard from day one, not as an afterthought.
For the enterprise clients emble works with, many of whom are at the beginning of their AI maturity, the ability to build securely and within sovereign boundaries is not optional.
It is the foundation everything else sits on.
Product-Minded: You care about speed to impact and shipping experiences that work, not theoretical elegance.

This engagement starts on a competitive contract day rate with an intentional path toward a permanent full time position as the business scales.
