PTM Pilbara Traffic Management has been delivering critical traffic management and rail safeworking services across WA for over a decade.
We support major mining, civil and infrastructure projects, playing a key role in keeping WA's essential industries operating safely and efficiently.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Track Protection Officers specifically accredited on the BHP and/or Rio Tinto network to join our expanding Rail Safeworking team.
This is an opportunity to secure long-term work across multiple active projects, working with a well-established and high-performing rail team.
With depots in Karratha, Port Hedland, Broome, Northam and Perth, we offer FIFO and residential opportunities across a variety of rosters, with highly competitive rates.
About the ROLE
You will be responsible for delivering safe and compliant rail safeworking services across active project sites, ensuring all track protection activities are executed to the highest standard.
To be successful, you will hold current and active rail network competencies on the BHP network and must have the following BHP certificates:
BHP Track Protection Officer (Lookout); and
BHP Track Protection Officer (Track Occupancy Authority).
And / or
To be successful, you will hold current and active rail network competencies on the Rio Tinto network and must have the following Rio Tinto certificates:
RTIO ROPO; and
RTIO TPO
Applications without these certificates will not be considered.
You will also have:
Construction White Card;
WA C Class Driver's Licence;
ability to pass a Cat1 Medical and ongoing Alcohol & Other Drugs testing; and
full Australian working rights (visa holders welcome).

About the PROCESS
Verification of rail network competencies will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
You will also be required to complete a Cat1 Medical, including alcohol and other drug screening.
