Protech is recruiting Painter / Blasters for ongoing full‐time work at Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT).
This is a local Mackay/Sarina chance offering long‐term security and lifestyle balance.

The Work
You'll be part of a high-performing team completing protective coating and structural maintenance works, including:
Blasting and painting of steel infrastructure and structures
Setting up work areas to safely execute tasks
Steel fabrication and coating to site specifications
Delivering quality work while maintaining safety and compliance standards
What We're After
Experience in industrial painting and blasting (Trade qualification desirable)
Happy to consider spray painting experience with upskilling opportunties for the right candidate
2 + years abrasive blasting and painting experience (highly regarded)
Familiar with epoxy coatings application including airless spray pump and conventional spray experience
Ports or Mining Experience (desirable)
Shutdown experience (highly regarded)
White Card (Construction Induction)
Working at Heights ticket or willingness to obtain
Ability to obtain an MSIC
Current driver's licence
Full Australian working rights
Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets (desirable)
Mackay local or Sarina residents (no accommodation provided)
