Green Light is seeking a motivated and hands-onField Engineerto join client growing Projects team in Adelaide.
As our project portfolio continues to expand, this role will support the deployment, installation, and troubleshooting of new technology solutions across customer sites throughout South Australia.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, solving technical problems, and taking ownership of deployments from installation through to resolution.
You'll often work independently on customer sites while being backed by a highly experienced and supportive engineering team, comprehensive documentation, and ongoing training.
The successful candidate will initially join as a contractor, with a explicit pathway to a permanent position for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
Build, configure, and deploy Windows-based systems and infrastructure.
Install, rack, stack, and commission IT and networking equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and implementation issues.
Perform system testing and validation during project deployments.
Provide on-site support during installations and project rollouts.
Identify and resolve networking issues across customer environments.
Document deployment activities and technical findings.
Work collaboratively with project, operations, and engineering teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Travel to customer sites across Adelaide and regional South Australia as required.
Skills & Experience EssentialExperience building, deploying, and supporting Windows-based systems.




Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of networking principles and fault diagnosis.
Experience working with enterprise networking technologies.
Ability to work autonomously and manage field-based activities independently.
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Ability to obtain and pass a National Police Check.
DesirableExperience withJunipernetworking technologies.
Exposure toCiscoand other enterprise networking platforms.
CurrentOpen Cabler's Licence.
Experience with infrastructure installations and communications rooms.
Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
