Student Services Officer
Ongoing - Part-time -Hours of work are 8:00am until 3:15pm
This is a 44 week a year position - you are not required to work in term break times.
Commencing ASAP
This part time, ongoing position will work under the general supervision of the Office Manager and will be required to demonstrate:
Effectiveness in advanced administrative functions
Ability to follow specified policies, procedures and internal controls
Effective time management and organisational abilities in an office environment
Commitment to personal and team effectiveness
Provide a friendly and welcoming customer service support, as first point of contact to parents, students and visitors.
Prepare routine correspondence and documents.
Undertake general word processing, letter preparation, mail merging, data entry, Excel and Desktop Publishing.
Collate and distribute documents in a timely manner.
Process incoming and outgoing correspondence and other mail in a timely manner.
Undertake records management and archiving.
This role is heavily focused on Student Attendance/Absences.
The successful candidate must have high level administration experience and be competent in all facets of general office administration, database management and a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a wider team environment.
Familiarity within an educational environment would be an advantage.
Salary will be in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement ****.
