The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Vice President- Greens Director, you'll be responsible for the overall presentation, maintenance and development of the course.
Your responsibilities will include:




* Leading and motivating the course maintenance team.
* Planning and delivering daily and seasonal maintenance programs.
* Managing irrigation, fertiliser and chemical applications.
* Maintaining and overseeing our extensive machinery fleet.
* Working from a new purpose-built maintenance workshop once completed.
* Preparing maintenance budgets and work schedules.
* Working alongside the committee on future course improvement projects.
* Ensuring a safe, efficient and professional workplace.
This position would ideally suit an experienced Greenkeeper looking to step into a management role or an established Head Greenkeeper seeking a rewarding leadership position with flexibility, autonomy and the opportunity to influence the future of a growing club.
About You
You'll ideally have:
* Experience in golf course or sports turf maintenance.
* Leadership skills with the ability to manage staff and volunteers.
* A passion for producing high-quality playing surfaces.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Relevant turf management qualifications (preferred).
* Chemical accreditation and a current driver's licence (desirable).
