To be eligible for Fast-Track consideration, applicants should demonstrate:
Completion (or near completion) of a Certificate II in Electrotechnology
Industry exposure (work experience, labouring, trade assistant roles)
Strong attendance and reliability history
A clear commitment to completing a 4-year apprenticeship
If you believe you meet the above, outline this clearly in your application.
To Be Competitive for Shortlisting, You Will Ideally Have:
Certificate II in Electrotechnology (or currently completing)
Relevant industry exposure or work experience
Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
Applicants without these may still apply, however candidates who demonstrate initiative (obtaining licences early, completing pre-apprenticeship training, gaining relevant work experience) will be prioritised.
