As a Honda dealership servicing a wide range of marine vessels and engine systems, we require a technician capable of working across all major outboard and sterndrive platforms, with strong diagnostic capability and attention to detail.
About the Role
Seasport Marineis seeking an experiencedMarine Technicianto join our team.
For bothworkshop-basedandmobile servicing roles.
Applicants must have prior experience in servicing, repairing, and fault diagnosis of petrol and/or diesel engines.
What You'll Be Doing
Servicing and maintenance of outboard motors.
Diagnostics, repairs, and fault finding
Boat fit-ups and electrical installations (12V)
Re-powers and sea testing
Trailer servicing and mobile callouts
Accurately record job details and complete timesheets using computer-based systems
Maintain workshop and vehicle housekeeping standards
Work in compliance with all company policies, including OHS and quality procedures
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade qualification as an Engineering Tradesperson (Mechanic), Cert III Marine Mechanical
Marine industry experience (highly regarded but not essential)
Experience installing,



diagnosing, and repairing 12-volt electrical systems
Experience with new vessel fit-outs and re-powers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and excellent time-management skills
A neat, organised approach with strong attention to detail
Ability to think outside the box and problem-solve
Self-motivated with pride in producing high-quality work
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Well-presented and physically fit
Strong commitment to OH&S; standards
Licences & Tickets
Current manual C-Class driver's licence
Forklift ticket (or willingness to obtain)
Recreational Skipper's Ticket (or willingness to obtain)
