About the role
BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park is seeking a friendly and professionalReceptionistto join our team on acasual basis.
Based in Helensvale, this role is essential to creating a welcoming first impression for our guests and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at our holiday park.
As a Receptionist, you will be the face of our organisation, handling guest inquiries, bookings, and general administrative tasks that keep our Park running efficiently.
Key responsibilities
Greeting guests and visitors with a warm, professional and helpful demeanour upon arrival
Managing guest check-ins and check-outs, including booking data entry and processing payment transactions
Handling incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries to appropriate staff members
Responding to guest requests and resolving issues promptly and courteously
Processing new bookings via phone, email and online booking systems
Maintaining accurate and confidential records of guest information and reservation details
Providing information about facilities, amenities and local attractions to guests
Supporting housekeeping and maintenance teams by communicating guest requirements
What we're looking for
Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to assist guests and create positive experiences
Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with clear and professional presentation
Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with RMS booking systems, email and Microsoft Office applications
Organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure




Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
Flexibility to work across various shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
Previous reception or hospitality experience is highly desirable
Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic and friendly professional attitude
