Our central location allows us to deliver fast, reliable gearbox repairs with minimal downtime for our clients.
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivatedMechanical Fitterto join our team.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for precision engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively within a team environment
Complete assigned tasks efficiently, safely, and on schedule
Ensure all work meets quality and specification standards, with timely completion of required documentation
Perform general fitting, overhaul, and repair of Gear Reduction Units, Fluid Couplings, and Power Transmission Devices
Maintain and correctly operate workshop equipment
Accurately measure and sketch mechanical components
Adhere to all company procedures and safety standards
Carry out mechanical repairs and component manufacturing as directed
Apply accurate fitting techniques for bearings, gears, seals, etc., using heating/freezing and other methods
Support team development, including training apprentices and assisting colleagues




Inspect and document mechanical conditions before and after refurbishment, identifying wear, damage, or potential issues in components like gears, shafts, and housings
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including with management and technical staff
Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing competing priorities
Effective goal setting and performance management aligned with company standards
Strong team orientation with the ability to build and maintain positive internal and external relationships
Capacity to work independently and manage workload without supervision
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with the initiative to develop alternative solutions
Basic computer literacy
Proficiency in hazard identification and a proactive approach to workplace safety
