Warehouse Storeperson – Forklift & Dispatch

We are seeking a reliable, organised, and hands-onWarehouse Storepersonto join our team at Gillman.
This is a full-time role offering a variety of responsibilities across warehouse operations, dispatch, freight coordination, inventory control, and support for our pump assembly and distribution activities.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, documented, and dispatched accurately and on time.
This position would suit someone who takes pride in maintaining a protected and well-organised warehouse, enjoys working as part of a practical team, and is comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
Receiving, loading, and unloading deliveries
Picking and packing customer orders, including pumps, components, and spare parts
Checking incoming and outgoing goods for accuracy and condition
Labelling, storing, and organising products and components
Preparing customer delivery dockets and dispatch documentation
Booking freight and coordinating transport and logistics
Assisting with stocktakes and inventory control
Supporting the assembly and distribution of industrial pumps where required
Operating a counterbalance forklift safely
Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Assisting with other general warehouse duties as required




About You
We are looking for someone who is dependable, practical, and willing to contribute to the team.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
Previous experience in a warehouse, storeperson, dispatch, or logistics role
A current LF forklift licence with experience operating a counterbalance forklift
A current Australian driver's licence
Experience picking, packing, receiving, and dispatching goods
The ability to organise freight and coordinate deliveries
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Good communication and customer service skills
The ability to work independently and manage daily priorities
A hands-on, practical, and solution-focused approach
A reliable and punctual work ethic
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Experience working with industrial equipment, pumps, machinery, spare parts, or technical products would be an advantage but is not essential.
