About the Role
AvantiCare is seeking a Podiatrist to join its growing allied health team on a permanent part-time basis (0.6 FTE).
This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload across residential aged care and community settings, delivering evidence-based podiatry services that enhance clients' mobility, independence and quality of life.
You will enjoy the autonomy to manage your own caseload while working as part of a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and Dietitians.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive podiatric assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
Deliver a broad range of podiatry services including routine foot care, wound management, pain management, footwear and orthotic advice and preventative foot health education.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Work collaboratively with clients, families, carers and other allied health professionals.
Deliver services across clients' homes, community settings and residential aged care facilities.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to continuous quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives.
What We're Looking For
You'll be someone who enjoys working independently while remaining connected to a supportive team.
You'll also have:
A tertiary qualification in Podiatry.
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Experience in aged care, community or healthcare settings, or the enthusiasm and capability to develop your skills within a supportive environment.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Current influenza vaccination.
A genuine commitment to person-centred care.
Ability to work autonomously while knowing when to seek support.
Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient and collaborative approach
Excellent communication, organisation, problem-solving and clinical reasoning skills.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply).
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
Current Professional Indemnity Insurance.
A current driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle.
